I grew up in Sacramento, CA and every year for the past 23 years there is the Stockton Asparagus Festival in Stockton. Stockton is about 30-45 minutes out side of Sacramento and is actually the fifth largest agricultural county in the United States. That’s a big title to hold.

The Asparagus Festival features some of the best deep fried vegetables in California. The whole event is a three day festival with tons of food, music, and entertainment all to celebrate asparagus. I’ll be visiting with my parents this weekend so I’ll see you out there.

Cheers!
