Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival will be going on in San Francisco’s beautiful Golden Gate Park. The festival is scheduled to last three days, August 22, 23, and 24. On the 22^nd the gates will open at 3pm and the show starts at 5pm, on the 23^rd and the 24^th the gates open at 11am the shows start at 1pm. Outside Lands will being taking place at the Polo Fields, Speedway Meadow, and Lindley Meadow in the park.

The list of bands so far is huge and more bands are supposed to be announced. At the time of writing this (4/27/08) the lineup is:

Tickets for the event will be 225.50 bucks for all three days. You can get tickets at TicketMaster or Music Today. At this point if you want tickets you have to buy them for all three days. There are no single day tickets, but they say they might announce availability of them at a later date. Also there is no camping at this event which I find rather odd since there are so many homeless people camped out in the park anyway.

UPDATE: They have announced that there will be single day tickets available. They will cost $85.
