Harmonix has finally announced the release of their first downloadable album for Rock Band.
Metal heads will be pleased to hear that they will be able to rock out to Judas Priest’s Screaming for Vengeance.
The album will be made available for download on the Xbox 360 on April 22nd and and PlayStation 3 on April 24. Harmonix announced that the price will be $15 but has said that this is not the set price for every album in the future. Harmonix’s CEO Alex Rigopulos said prices will most likely depend on how many songs are on an album. Individual songs will also be available for $2 a piece for those who aren’t interested in the whole album.
The Cars self-titled debut and The Pixies’ Doolittle are expected to be released around May and June. There is also rumors of The Who in the near future also.
