Pineapple Express, scheduled for release in August 2008, is next film written by the guys who brought us Superbad, Knocked Up, and The 40 Year Old Virgin otherwise known as Judd Apatow, Seth Rogan, and Evan Goldberg. It doesn’t matter if you love or hate their movies it has to be agreed upon that these guys are the masters of the pot jokes and Pineapple Express seems to be their longest one.

Pineapple Express is the story of two potheads (Seth Rogan and James Franco) who witness a cop murdered and now must hide from the mob and the police and from there stony high-jinks ensue. The cast list offers a number of stars that allow for the makings of a great comedy. Gary Cole (Office Space), Danny R. McBride (Hot Rod, Tropic Thunder), Craig Robinson (The Office - American Version) are just a few of the supporting characters in this cloudy, red eyed comedy with an awesomely twisted sense of humor.

By far the best part of the trailer is seeing Seth Rogan leaping through the air like a tiger which will make you laugh histarically and then wish you could tackle someone like that.
