European Carbon Fund (ECF), the pioneer private carbon fund, has originated to date over 59Mt of CO2e and has achieved building a diversified portfolio by geographical area, by technologies and by counterparties. Leveraging on the expertise and success of ECF, the managers of ECF have launched a second generation carbon fund: the European Kyoto Fund (EKF). During the side event, the team will present ECF’s achievements and EKF’s strategy which aims to become a new major carbon buyer.
