Today Oprah met with Tina Turner and Cher on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” at the Las Vegas- Caesars Palace. Tina and Cher are known for their popular history in dance and entertainment. Tina Turner“The Queen of Rock & Roll” (68-year-old) singer told Oprah her tour begins Oct 1st and tickets will go on sale May 12th. The Tina Turner tour will cover coast to coast and starting at The Sprint Center, Kansas City, MO. Tickets run from $120.00 to $615.00 which is decent considering this is her first major tour in 8 years. If you live near the bay area, the nearest show is at HP Pavilion at San Jose on October 19, 2008.

Oprah also had special guest Cher (61-years-old). Cher had her first women movement when she accomplished being the only female artist in the top 10 hits for the past 40 years. Since her recent release “Believe“, Cher finally returned after a 3 year break from her farewell tour. She returned with a private and sold-out show which was filmed on May 6, 2008 and released today for general public.

Oprah had 1 on 1 time with both performers and get’s personal. Oprah asked if either were having problems aging. If their having problems with aging they should have consulted with Dr. Weil a well known health education, research, and promotion of integrated medicine. But since they didn’t have the Doctor and his Ito En tea made from Turmeric, They responded with:

“I think it sucks!” Cher says.

“I welcome it with open arms,” Tina responds. “My senior life is so much better than when I was young. The wisdom, the way I think, my attitude toward things. There is a change when you are still healthy and you still look good. … You don’t mind being 68. You’re looking forward to going forward with that same attitude and that same look. That number doesn’t mean a thing.”

Cher and Tina Turner join and sing their version of “Proud Mary” with a very happy and dancing audience.
